As someone above noted,it is worth finding a few review sites/reviewers that seem on your wavelength or of similar taste.
I typically disregard most reviews save for a select few that often seem to closely align with my own impressions.
Reviews I think are necessary and helpful,treating them as the definitive measure of a games worth is a mistake however.Especially once score retraction becomes more prevalent,hard to wade through the mire,ultimately.
I will believe it when I play it for myself.
Until then boring and generic sounds fine,keeps expectations minimal and probably has some merit down the line.
I would imagine that this move is a small part of the bigger plan;restructuring.
I have been inside a Sony store(I'm one of the 73 persons believed to have done so),I can't honestly say I'm surprised.Overpriced,understoc ked,obscure locations,uninformed staff,etc.etc.
The lost jobs always hurts but we Canadians are a resilient,resourceful lot,I'm certain recovery will be swift in the wake of Sony's and more importantly Targets departure.

AC games aren't really worth the debate anyways,better reserved for something worthwhile.
I'm personally guilty of score retraction constantly,example DA Inquisition;my first impression was 'hey cool,I'm with the 8/10 crowd on this one.Great game.
By the end I'm saying meh and throwing around 6's and wondering why a 5/10 isn't actually unfair.
Just waiting for some bland misanthrope to post a list of games for each console followed by sales numbers....*sigh*

I can certainly sympathize with those that genuinely enjoy the game,hell I spent my share of time on it and still hit it occasionally.
When it's good it is good enough,unfortunately in my opinion it never rises to greater heights.

Off topic,completely agree with the sentiment above that the Elder Scrolls series has devolved since Morrowind.
Not nearly as big as some would claim.

While definitely quality games,I can relate to the authors sentiments.
Never been a big Kratos subscriber,a Norse,Celtic god of war would be far more interesting in my opinion.

Currently the PS3 is dirt cheap and has an amazing library that includes nearly every genre.
It also functions well on it's own,dated browser aside.
If the rumor out of Redmond is to be believed,MS plans on releasing upwards of 20 exclusives in the first quarter of 2015 alone.
70+ by years end including those originally slated to appear in 2018-2019.
To minimize the effect of this veritable onslaught,Sony and ND have guaranteed Uncharted 4 ready for a late 2015 launch.
Something unique and unusual would be cool,a new ip essentially.
After they convinced me with The Last of Us,I'm totally behind ND.Having said that,it is possible that this isn't even an ND game.
Sorting,grouping,hiding of apps,as mentioned above.
That would be first on my list.
Probably more than a single employee running 15 stores,probably.
Also,I'm fairly certain the PlayStation division will be around for a long,long time.
Kind of feel sorry for anyone that has been led to believe otherwise.
